Lake photographs altered by lake water

Lakes and Reservoirs is a series by Los Angeles based photographer Matthew Brandt. For this series Brandt photographs various bodies of water, then soaks each print in the water of the subject.  He soaks the prints from days to months, giving each print an incredibly unique, manipulated effect.


Brandt's work was on view earlier this month at LACMA for the Assembly: Eight Emerging Photographers From Southern California Exhibition.
